Yes that is a reminder for me. I need to check my attitude at the door. We all have different agendas and priorities and I have let the differences get in the way of my creating. So I'm learning to go with the flow as best I can. It can be a control issue also and I need to let go. So along with learning to say 'no' I'm learning to check my attitude when it comes to the people I love and organizations.
I'm finding that when the attitude steps in I get less creative. Frustration and dwelling on problems doesn't help anyone. Especially me. So you are going to see less attitude and more creating which will be better for everyone.
A good quote to remember...
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Below are images of work in progress. I love white trilliums and they remind me of grace. Not sure why but that is what I keep seeing. Perhaps there is a reason others might see. It sure was grace that helped me with the painting. I'll show the finished painting in the next blog post.
As you can see the background got off to a bad start and there was many times I had to walk away and come back to the painting with fresh eyes. This painting gave me lessons in patience, attitude and grace.
